Working with WordSpace

It's my job to make it easy for you to get something written. Here's a quick guide to the process I will guide you through to ensure your needs are met.

1. Initial Contact

Contact me using the form below, or by telephone if you prefer, and let me know what you need. At this stage you can provide as much or as little information as you like - just as long as I've got your contact details.

2. Project Brief

I contact you as soon as possible to get full details of your project. You can provide project details by telephone or by filling out a project brief which I will email you - whichever you prefer. I'm also happy to meet with you in person, although travel fees may apply.

3. Project Proposal and Quote

I submit a project proposal which specifies:

  1. What I will do.
    I'll reiterate your requirements and outline the approach I plan to take to complete your project.
  2. When I will do it.
    I'll specify the final deadline as well as the target dates for progress milestones as relevant.
  3. What (if anything) you need to do.
    If I need further resources from you (for example interviews, further documentation or design elements) I'll specify what these are and when I need them by.
  4. How much it will cost.
    I'll provide a fixed quote, along with details of any initial deposit and progress payments as relevant.

Note re Deposits: A 30% deposit is required before commencement on projects quoted at A$1000 or above. I reserve the right to charge a deposit on projects below A$1000 at my sole discretion.

4. Contract and Deposit

When you are ready to go ahead, I will send you a contract and, if applicable, an invoice for the initial deposit. As soon as I receive your deposit, I can get to work.

5. Delivery and Revisions

I submit a draft by the agreed date. At this point you can review the draft and submit any required revisions. I normally provide up to two rounds of revisions at no charge. Any variation from this will be specified in the project proposal and contract.

6. Project Completion

When you're satisfied that the project is complete, I'll submit my final invoice. Upon payment of this invoice, the work is yours to use, modify and reproduce as you wish.
